In addition to being a goal-oriented program, MC Cooperative Equine Training places equal weight on the relationship that develops between horses and their handlers throughout the training process. The creation of a positive dynamic between clients and their equines is a central component of every training plan.
Behavior Consultation
Are you looking for a humane, science based approach to behavior change without the use of force, fear, or punishment? Do you need help solving a problem behavior your horse has been displaying? Maybe you are having a hard time understanding why your horse is behaving the way they are?
During the consultation, Megan will deep dive into your horse's life and history to solve challenges and issues you and your horse are facing. Expect the appointment to last around an hour and a half for observation, discussion, and planning. You will receive detailed notes and recommendations of our meeting via email.
*This service requires an open mind to the possibility of changes, such as lifestyle adjustments and/or the incorporation of clicker training with food.

Prices range from $75 - $110 depending on distance from Palos Park, IL (up to 80 miles). Please fill out a contact form to get a customized price for your location. Not in geographical range? No problem! Live Virtual Lessons via Zoom are also available for $65.
Positive Reinforcement Lessons
Whether you are new to positive reinforcement and are looking to learn the basics, or you have experience but are running into difficulties training more advanced behaviors, MC Cooperative Equine Training is here to help! Megan will work alongside you to create a custom training plan that is carefully tailored to fit the needs of you and your horse. Megan specializes in a wide array of behaviors including but not limited to:

Treatment/Cooperative Care Behaviors
-Under Saddle Behaviors

Each hour lesson is filled with hands on training, plus discussions. After each lesson you will receive detailed notes and recommendations via email.

Video Review
If you are interested in asynchronous feedback, send Megan a video of you and your horse's positive reinforcement training session along with specific questions about the session via email. You will receive a voice-over of the video you provide, as well as detailed answers to the questions you send in. You will receive instructions on how to send video once booked.
